The orphanage currently resides in Port-au-Prince. We hope to someday be able to purchase land outside the city and build our own building - over time reducing operating costs. In the mean time, we are renting a home. A large, lump sum of about $14,400 is due every six months for rent for the following six months. Due to our limited income, there is rarely money to set aside monthly for this, and we rely on separate, one-time gifts to raise this amount.
