For His Glory Adoption Outreach ministry is dedicated to fundraising and assisting the orphanage, Maison des Enfants de Dieu, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Maison des Enfants de Dieu was home to 125 orphaned and abandoned children prior to the January 12, 2010 earthquake. Approximately 100 of those children have been reunited with their families, but daily they are welcoming in displaced children. Despite a decimated facility, Maison is now home to approximately 75 displaced children and growing. The adoption process in Haiti is unclear, but once children are available for adoption we will update our site to show available children. Until then, we are working with Maison to fix the current structure until land can be purchased and a new facility built. When we have better communication we will begin to post information on displaced children in our care for sponsorship.
URGENT NEED There are currently 300 children still in Haiti that qualify for humanitarian parole. The State Dept. has cancelled military flights. Volunteer Charter Flights are needed to evacuate these remaining children. If you or someone you know can provide transportation for these children, please contact info@forhisgloryoutreach.org
